I’m not your great-great-grandfather’s stained-glass maker.
There are no sunsets, rainbows, French lilies or Jesus on a cross
— instead, lots of dead pigs, apocalypses, and gratuitous nudity.
The easiest thing to do is throw a rock.
It’s a lot harder to create a stained glass window.
I used to get upset at the people who threw rocks
but now I’d rather spend my time building the stained glass windows.Jon Foreman

I am currently in Paris, getting a master’s in sculpture at the Sorbonne.
I’ve been working in stained glass since 2011, when I took a class at a small shop in Virginia. Now I live in Seattle, a hub for blown glass artists, the nemeses of old-school stained glass. Next year, Europe?
I tend to work in the copper foil technique, which is most often seen in lamps. The leadlines are more organic than commercially-made strips of came, which I like. Also, the smallest lead commercially available is 1/8th of an inch wide. Copper foil can give leadlines that are much thinner than that.
